Dr. D. Srinivasa Rao brings over 34 years of extensive academic and research experience in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Centurion University, he served as Professor and Principal at leading institutions including Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering and Satya Institute of Technology & Management. His core expertise spans Smart Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs), and Digital Manufacturing.
Dr. Rao earned his Ph.D. from NIT Surathkal, M.Tech (Gold Medalist) from IIT Roorkee, and B.Tech from Bangalore University. He has guided doctoral scholars, secured research grants from AICTE, published widely in reputed journals (Springer, Elsevier, Wiley), and delivered invited talks across India. As an academic leader, he has organized and contributed to numerous FDPs, workshops, and national seminars.
His visionary leadership and commitment to academic excellence are driving forces in advancing the SoET’s mission of innovation, industry relevance, and quality education.
